Confined Space Supervisor Course

eTraining’s Confined Space Supervisor course is an 8-hour online training program designed for entry supervisors and workers with supervisory responsibilities for permit-required confined space operations. The course covers OSHA CFR 1910.146, the general industry standard for permit-required confined space safety, and is taken entirely online. It emphasizes the necessary supervisory skills and qualifications needed for safe confined space entry.

OSHA defines a confined space as an area that is large enough and so configured that an employee can bodily enter and perform assigned work, has limited or restricted means for entry or exit, and is not designed for continuous employee occupancy. The course covers the role of a confined space entry supervisor in authorizing entries, verifying permits, ensuring safety precautions are in place, and terminating entry operations when needed.
