Active Shooter Preparedness

eTraining’s Active Shooter Preparedness course is an online training program designed to provide a foundation of knowledge to prepare for, and respond to, an active shooter event. The course is built in accordance with standards and guidelines developed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the FBI’s Active Shooter Incidents Study, and OSHA’s General Duty Clause.
Training covers how to survive an active shooting event, profiling an active shooter, coordinating with local first responders, training and drills and assigning roles, administrative and engineering controls, industry-specific preparation, developing an emergency operations plan, and employer responsibilities.

The course is 100% online, fully self-paced, and accessible on desktop computers, tablets, and smartphones.
