Eye Protection Safety

eTraining’s Eye Protection Safety course is an online safety training program designed for workers who face eye and face hazards in the workplace. The course teaches workers how to identify eye hazards, select the correct type of eye and face protection, and use protective equipment properly in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.133 (Eye and Face Protection). It is delivered through eTraining, an online safety training provider.

Training focuses on the types of eye hazards found in the workplace (flying particles, molten metal splash, chemical splashes, dust, harmful light radiation from welding and cutting), the different types of eye and face protection (safety glasses, goggles, face shields, welding helmets), ANSI Z87.1 standards for protective eyewear, proper selection based on hazard type, and care and maintenance of eye protection equipment.

The course is 100% online, fully self-paced, and accessible on desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
