Aerial & Scissor Lift Competent Person

eTraining’s Aerial & Scissor Lift Competent Person course is an online competent person-level training program designed for supervisors, safety officers, and workers designated as the competent person for aerial and scissor lift operations. The course teaches participants how to fulfill their competent person duties in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926.453 (Aerial Lifts) and ANSI A92 standards. It is delivered through eTraining, an online safety training provider.

Training focuses on the competent person’s role and responsibilities, OSHA and ANSI regulatory standards for aerial and scissor lifts, hazard identification and risk assessment, fall protection and personal protective equipment (PPE) selection, equipment inspection and maintenance, emergency response and rescue planning, and the development of site-specific safety plans.

The course is 100% online, fully self-paced, and accessible on desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
