HAZWOPER Safety Orientation

HAZWOPER Safety Orientation is a 45 to 60 minute online course for workers exposed to hazardous substances under 29 CFR 1910.120. It covers mental discipline, complacency, PPE limits, chemical information, safe work pace and hazard recognition.

• Explains why mental discipline matters when workers handle hazardous materials and waste on job sites safely.
• Covers complacency, focus, work pace and emotional control during hazardous materials work tasks on site.
• Reviews how PPE limits movement and comfort, and why workers need chemical information before HAZMAT tasks.
