Universal Waste Training

eTraining’s Universal Waste Training course is an online training program designed for employees who handle or may encounter universal waste in commercial or residential settings. Universal waste refers to specific types of hazardous waste that are commonly generated by households and businesses alike. These wastes contain hazardous substances that can pose significant risks to human health and the environment if not managed properly.

To streamline the process of handling these wastes and encourage recycling, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established regulations under the Universal Waste Rule. This course reviews the regulations established by the EPA so that learners are able to recognize hazardous wastes that are common in both commercial and residential settings and teaches the proper management and handling of these materials.

The course is 100% online, fully self-paced, approximately 2 hours in length, and accessible on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
