Indoor Air Quality

Indoor Air Quality is a short online course on the air inside a building. It covers the health effects of contaminated indoor air, the contaminants behind them and where they come from, how HVAC systems fit in, and what occupants can do about it.

• Recognize the symptoms that point at the building itself rather than at the person breathing the air in it.
• Trace a contaminant back to its real source, from the HVAC system to the furniture and the cleaning cupboard.
• Know where the exposure limits sit for the air contaminants OSHA regulates, which is at 29 CFR 1910.1000.
