OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training Online – TimeLocked

eTraining’s OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER TimeLocked course is a paced version of the standard OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training. It is developed for workers and employees who could be exposed to hazardous substances and hazardous materials at the workplace.

The TimeLocked format requires students to spend a minimum amount of time on each section before advancing, ensuring that learners engage with the full 40 hours of training content as required by OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.120. This format is often preferred by employers who need documentation that their workers completed the full time requirement.

The course covers 10 modules including hazard identification, remediation and prevention methods, hazardous substances, personal protective equipment, decontamination, emergency response, site characterization and control, medical monitoring, materials handling, and monitoring procedures. Topics are covered in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120.

Also included is a downloadable 400-page manual covering the entire HAZWOPER hazardous waste standard set by OSHA. The course includes free annual refresher training for the following year, instructor access, and a certificate and ID card upon completion.

In addition to this online training, OSHA requires (per 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(i)) that workers also receive 3 days of worksite-specific field training from their employer, under the guidance of an experienced supervisor.

The course is 100% online and accessible on desktop computers, tablets, and smartphones.
