EHS KPI Tracking

EHS KPI Tracking is a five module online course on measuring safety and environmental performance. It covers leading and lagging indicators, the TRIR and DART calculations, data quality, targets and dashboards, root cause analysis and reporting.

• Calculate TRIR the way OSHA defines the rate: recordables times 200,000, divided by the hours actually worked.
• Tell a leading indicator from a lagging one, then build a set that has some of each rather than all of one.
• Keep the records the rates come from: five years for the 300 Log and the 301 forms, under 29 CFR 1904.33.
